Links Page Granted, there is nothing quite like the Institute on the Web. However, certain sites are worth a visit, for those who find the Institute worth their lunch-hour time.
- What kind of sites link to the Institute? There are the obligatory search engines, the occasional reference on a very slow news day, well-meaning parenting sites, Portal of Evil ripoffs, and the local WB station. I get a lot of hits from that WB station. (Insert your own joke about the WB's lack of "hits" here.)
- As of now, apart from an appearance on a Minnesota station in which he was half asleep, the Chairman has appeared on one radio program - the Ross Peddlesden morning show in northern Tasmania. Several other stations and newspapers have since requested interviews, but not followed up on them. What gives, guys?
- Even if you are not a Utah Mormon (and our Chairman is not), the Utah Baby Namer is required reading for prospective members of I.N.C.H. They present a true "hall of fame" of poorly chosen names, and engage in a bit of Mormon social commentary as well.
- The Society for Preventing Parents from Naming their Children Jennifer is a slightly misguided organization, as "Jennifer" has been approved by the Institute for use. They do make a fine argument, yet the site is also really ugly.
- At this site, you'll find frequent examples of why you should not use "Wayne" as a middle name.
- The Institute would not be complete without a link to the finest Institute on the Web, the Institute of Official Cheer.
